Veritas Lunare belongs to the Curiosity Cabinet collection, a realm built from witchcraft, folklore, natural oddities and the strange beauty of things we keep.

She is whimsygoth to her bones. Not the cold architectural kind of dark. The warm kind. Rosemary hanging upside down in a kitchen. Velvet that has seen things. A tarot deck shuffled so often the edges went soft. Candles lit in the afternoon for no reason anyone needs to justify. That specific late-90s witch feeling, where magic was cosy and domestic and passed between friends.

Veritas is truth. Lunare is of the moon. She has been up there through every version of you, the best year and the worst one, and she is not keeping score on either.

This one wears white sapphire, which is the coldest and clearest option we offer, and it suits her. Clear stone, silver moon, nothing warm in the palette at all. She looks like a moon on a January night rather than a September one. The star that carries the stone hangs loose from the tip of the crescent and swings when you move, so the light on her is never quite the same twice.

Her face is sculpted rather than stamped, eyes half open, expression landing somewhere between serene and mildly amused. We blackened the recesses and brought the high points back up by hand, which is what lets a face this small still read as a face from across a room.

She is made in our own atelier in the Netherlands, in real recycled 925 sterling silver. No plating, no gold filled, no vermeil. Crafted using in-house digital and traditional techniques: 3D designing, 3D printing, casting, sawing, shaping, soldering, stone setting, blackening and polishing.

Finished by hand, with the face darkened and the high points brought back up so her features hold their depth.

Can I change the gemstone on this one?

Yes. White sapphire is corundum, the same mineral family as blue sapphire, just without the colouring elements. It reads clear and bright with a softer sparkle than diamond, and at 9 on the Mohs scale it holds up to daily wear.

Is white sapphire the same as diamond?
No. They are completely different minerals. White sapphire is clear and bright with a softer, more watery sparkle. Diamond throws harder flashes of light. Side by side you would spot the difference, but white sapphire has its own quieter look and is considerably kinder on the wallet.
