From the very first conversation, we guide you through the entire process with openness and intention. We are fully transparent about materials, pricing, craftsmanship, and timelines, so there are no surprises along the way.

As independent goldsmiths, we take the time to discuss every detail with you. Whether it’s bespoke jewelry, handmade rings, a fantasy inspired necklace, or a custom piece rooted in your personal story, we create together. This is not just custom jewelry, it is a shared process, resulting in unique jewelry made entirely for you.

We work exclusively with carefully selected materials, including sterling silver, 14k and 18K gold, and thoughtfully chosen gemstone jewelry, ensuring every piece reflects our standards of durability, artistry, and soul.

Step 1: Inspiration & Budget

We start by understanding your vision:

What styles speak to you?
Which stones, metals, or colors hold personal meaning?
Would you like engravings with names, dates, or symbols?

If your piece is a gift or surprise, we’ll focus on the recipient’s preferences. Don’t worry if you’re unsure, our handcrafted jewelry is designed from story, mood boards, or just an idea in your mind.

Budget Transparency

From the start, we discuss both your vision and your budget. We ensure the design is feasible and works within your means. Even if the first idea is over budget, our experience as goldsmiths allows us to create beautiful solutions tailored to you.

Due to the pre-work that we put into making your perfect custom piece happen the custom budget starts from €400,-

Step 2: Deposit & Initial Sketches

Once we align on your ideas, a deposit secures your spot. Only then do we start creating sketches for your bespoke jewelry.

Input helps us design richer sketches: Pinterest boards, stones, or stories.
We provide transparent pricing including stones, engravings, and materials.

After our first conversation about your wishes, inspiration, and ideas, we begin designing your unique, handmade jewelry. This is the exciting moment when your dream concept starts to take shape and become tangible.

Important:
Your custom project will only be officially scheduled once the deposit has been received. Until then, your spot on our calendar is not reserved and may be taken by another request. We mention this not to be strict, but to be transparent. Our agenda fills up quickly, and we want to ensure every client receives the time and attention they deserve. We recommend reaching out 6–9 months in advance for custom orders, and 9–12 months in advance for wedding rings. You can check our current waiting list on our website.

Deposit Guidelines

The amount for your pre-deposit is really dependable on your budget and complexity of your project. We work with the following guidelines:

Budget	Pre-deposit
€400- €5000	10%
€5000 en hoger	15%
+ €2000 and/or 14K or 18K white/yellow/red gold	2nd pre-deposit at the moment of gold or precious gemstones buy-in

Example:
If your budget is €800, the deposit is €80 (10%). If the final design costs €1,000, you will pay the remaining €920 upon delivery.

We always provide sketches alongside clear price indications, including any gemstones, engravings, or extras. This ensures you know exactly what to expect, with complete transparency and no surprises. At Atelier Wolfstone, we believe in honest, step-by-step communication throughout the process.

Why a Deposit is Required Before Designing

Every piece of bespoke jewelry we create is fully tailored to you. We only begin the first sketches after receiving the deposit. This deposit covers our time and preparation, including:

Creative brainstorming
Translating your ideas into realistic sketches
Material and design considerations

The more detail you provide, the richer and more precise the sketches will be. Have a Pinterest board, mood images, a gemstone you love, or a story you want translated into jewelry? All of it helps. Not sure yet? No worries, we guide you step by step.

What You’ll Receive

Once we start, you will receive:

One or more unique designs hand or digitally sketched.
Price indications for each design, including gemstones or extras
Complete transparency on materials, craftsmanship, and time investment
Upon request, a detailed overview of hours, labor, and materials used

We value clarity, no surprises. If you decide later to adjust the design or add elements, we will discuss this in advance and include it as additional work if necessary.

The design phase concludes once you approve a hand-drawn or digital sketch. After approval, we move on to the production phase, which includes any necessary 3D design work and the actual handcrafting of your piece. If changes are requested after the design phase, these are treated as additional work and added to your final invoice.

Step 3: Measuring & Physical Check

Once the initial sketch round is complete, you have the option to schedule an in-person appointment with us. During this meeting, we professionally take your measurements and review the designs together. This is a wonderful opportunity to pause and focus on every detail of your handmade jewelry.

For custom rings, a perfect fit is essential. Since each piece is individually handcrafted, we want to ensure your jewelry not only looks beautiful but also fits comfortably and lasts for years to come.

Measuring = Knowing.

Prefer to continue remotely? That’s no problem!
If you don’t have the time or possibility for an in-person appointment after the first sketches, we can coordinate everything online. Ring sizes can also be measured later in the process, but always before we begin crafting the rings.

Important:
If you measure your own size, we cannot guarantee the fit. Should the size be incorrect, we can always resize your piece, but this will be billed separately at our hourly rate.

If you have us take your measurements during a physical appointment, we provide a full fit guarantee.

Your jewelry should not only be beautiful, it should fit perfectly. That’s why we dedicate ample time, whether in person or online, to ensure your unique, handcrafted design is realized with precision, care, and love.

Step 4: Approval & Beginning the Crafting Process

Once we are fully aligned on your design, price, and delivery schedule, we review everything together verbally and confirm all agreements in writing via email, WhatsApp, or Instagram. We do not use formal quotes, but you will receive a clear summary of all arrangements, including:

The agreed-upon design
Total cost
Estimated delivery date
Any additional notes or special considerations

Important to Know:
We will also discuss when production of your piece will begin and when the full remaining payment should be ready. Make sure, if necessary, to adjust your spending limit so the payment process is smooth.

Deposit & Payment

As always, work only begins once the deposit has been received. The deposit amount depends on the type of jewelry, complexity of the design, and materials used (such as gold or gemstones).

Don’t worry, the deposit is always credited toward your final payment. You will only ever pay the agreed total amount; there are no hidden costs.

Getting Started

Once we have your approval on the design and your deposit is received, we begin crafting your unique, handcrafted jewelry. Every piece is made with care, attention, and expert craftsmanship.

We schedule our work so that you receive your jewelry on or well before the agreed delivery date.

In exceptional circumstances (such as illness or delays in material delivery) it may not be possible to complete your piece on time. Should this occur, you will receive a full refund of your deposit, and we will happily discuss rescheduling your project.

Cancelling a Project

If you decide to cancel the project after Step 2, the deposit is typically non-refundable. This is because we have already invested time in communication, design development, and work preparation.

Step 5: Creation – Bringing Your Jewelry to Life

Now comes the most exciting part: crafting your unique, handmade jewelry. Once everything has been discussed and confirmed, we begin the project with care, attention, and love in our atelier.

During the creation process, we like to keep you updated. We regularly share photos and sometimes short videos showing your piece taking shape. It’s a wonderful way to document your journey, enjoy the process, and even include it in your personal photo album! Also, do not feel affraid to ask us for in-between photo's or video's. we do love to share them with you!

Transparency & Communication

You are always welcome to ask questions or share your opinions. We encourage you to tell us what you love, or what you don’t. After all, this is your custom piece, and it should fit you perfectly. Open communication is essential to creating jewelry you will treasure for years.

A Note About Our Atelier

While we would love to welcome you in person, it is unfortunately not possible to be physically present during the crafting process. Our atelier is a home studio, and accessing the space would require passing through private areas, which isn’t part of our workflow.

But don’t worry:
We make every effort to send updates with photos and videos throughout the process. You are also always welcome to request additional updates. We believe it’s important for you to feel involved and connected to your piece, even from a distance.

Step 6: Delivery – Your Dream Piece is Ready!

The moment has finally arrived: your unique, handcrafted jewelry is ready to be delivered! Once you are completely satisfied with the final design and the remaining balance has been received, we will discuss the delivery options with you.

Shipping or Pickup?

Shipping:
We can safely ship your jewelry via courier. Every package is carefully packaged, insured, and comes with a tracking number, so you can follow the journey of your piece from our atelier to your hands.

Pickup:
If you live nearby or want to make a little outing of it, you are welcome to pick up your jewelry in person. Our atelier is conveniently located near the Efteling, so you could even combine your visit with a day at this beautiful theme park. This way, you can admire your jewelry in real life and take it home yourself.

Personal Delivery:
We can also deliver your piece personally to your location. Travel costs will apply for this option.

Safety During Shipping

We always ensure that your jewelry is securely and safely packaged to protect it during transport. Once the package is with the courier, however, we no longer have control over its journey. Delays or damage can occasionally occur, which is unfortunately beyond our control.

All packages are sent with tracking, making loss extremely unlikely, but it can still happen. We cannot guarantee against this, though we always take every precaution.

Upon Receiving Your Package

When your package arrives, please check its exterior before opening. If it appears damaged, let us know immediately so we can find the best solution together.

Important:
We are not responsible for delays or damage that occur during shipping. We always do our utmost to deliver your jewelry in perfect condition and are here to assist you if any issues arise.

Step 7: You’re Happy (And So Are We!)

Congratulations! You have received your unique, handcrafted jewelry. We sincerely hope you love it as much as we loved creating it. Together, we have crafted something truly special: a one-of-a-kind piece, made with love, attention, and expert craftsmanship by our experienced goldsmiths.

Whether it’s a ring, pendant, or any other piece, your jewelry is designed to last a lifetime and carry meaning, as long as it is properly cared for.

Care & Maintenance

With your order, you will receive a handy guide with tips to keep your silver or gold jewelry in top condition. Please note that sterling silver naturally oxidizes over time, developing a subtle dark-gray patina. This is a normal characteristic of the material and can be maintained beautifully with proper care.

Warranty

All our handmade jewelry comes with a 6-month warranty from the day you receive it. This covers all soldered joints and constructions. Please note that damage resulting from misuse, impact, dropping, or improper care is not covered under this warranty.
