Inspiration & Story

The Overgrown Gravestone Pendant belongs to the Curiosity Cabinet collection, a realm inspired by witchcraft, natural symbolism, forgotten relics and the quiet poetry of the macabre.

This pendant takes the shape of a small gravestone reclaimed by time. Subtle organic details suggest the presence of nature slowly taking back what once was, a gravestone standing quietly in an old cemetery where the world has moved on but memory remains.

At the center of the stone sits a single gemstone. Two variations exist: one with a deep red garnet, the other with a mystical green sapphire. These stones act like a symbolic offering left upon the grave, a small light of remembrance within the stillness of the monument.

The design embraces the philosophy of memento mori: a reminder that life is temporary and that remembrance is sacred. In many cultures, the dead are believed to live on through memory. A grave becomes more than stone, it becomes a place where stories remain alive.

Crafted using in-house digital and traditional techniques: 3D designing, 3D printing, casting, sawing, shaping, soldering, stone setting, engraving, blackening and polishing.

Every sculptural element including the gravestone form, botanical overgrowth and gemstone setting is finished by hand to ensure depth, texture and a natural aged character.
