Inspiration & Story

The Deadly Nightshade Ring belongs to the Curiosity Cabinet collection. A realm shaped by witchcraft, botanical folklore, oddities and the shadowy side of nature.

This ring draws its form and energy from deadly nightshade, also known as belladonna. In European folklore, nightshade was feared and revered in equal measure. Witches were said to use it in flying ointments, seers used it to cross the veil, and healers understood its dual nature as both poison and medicine. It symbolises dangerous beauty, shadowwork, intuition, liminality and the power of embracing the parts of yourself that others find too dark.

The green tourmaline represents growth, resilience and the heart of the forest. The black zirconia echoes the fruit of the nightshade plant, glossy and dark, a reminder that not everything beautiful is harmless.
