Inspiration & Story

The Chartres Rings are inspired by the ornamental façades of neo-gothic architecture, specifically the rhythmic repetition of quatrefoils arranged in a diaper pattern a decorative structure often found in cathedral stonework. These rings therefore find their home in the Regina collection. 

This design language draws directly from architectural detailing seen on historic church façades, where repetition, symmetry and symbolism merge into a harmonious whole. The result is a ring design that feels deeply gothic, yet strikingly modern.

The name Chartres references the spiritual and architectural legacy of gothic cathedrals, places of devotion, union and enduring promises.

The Slim Chartres Ring

  • Features one band of repeating quatrefoil diaper pattern

  • More delicate and refined

  • Feminine in feel, yet architectural and strong

The Bold Chartres Ring

  • Features two bands of repeating diaper pattern

  • More pronounced, sculptural and grounding

  • Slightly more masculine in appearance

Both rings share a straight, modern ring band, allowing the gothic ornamentation to remain clean, wearable and timeless.
