Our Story, Atelier Wolfstone
We are Huib & Kaat, the hearts and hands behind Atelier Wolfstone, an independent jewelry atelier rooted in craftsmanship, creativity, and a deep love for nature and storytelling.
Our journey didn’t begin in a studio, but on two very different paths.
Huib worked as a truck driver, spending long hours on the road until a severe burnout forced him to stop and rethink his life. His therapist suggested finding a hobby and that spark led him to the world of metals, fire, and creation.
Kaat, a building engineer by trade, had always been drawn to 3D design and structure, she worked as a BIM engineer at several construction companies and soon joined in. Together, we discovered not just a craft, but a calling.
The most of our website is written in English, but we are actually Dutch and we live and work in the beautiful village of Kaatsheuvel (yes, where also themepark the Efteling is)

Innovation, creation and artisanal work
What started at the kitchen table slowly grew into Atelier Wolfstone . A place where our creativity, love for detail, and shared passion for artistry could flourish. We taught ourselves everything: through countless hours of research, experimentation, and sheer determination.
We work from our atelier in Kaatsheuvel, the Netherlands, where we handcraft every piece of jewelry with care and precision. Each design combines traditional goldsmithing with a modern, fantasy-inspired aesthetic. We use several techniques such as traditional benchworking, handengraving, 3D designing and printing, lost wax casting and gold-inlay. And so much more. whenever there is something to learn, we will be there. We never back off from a good challenge.
We use recycled metals, ethically sourced gemstones, and create with sustainability and integrity at heart.

Inspiration and feeling
Our inspiration flows from nature, folklore, architecture, and the worlds of fantasy and romantasy literature . We like to create jewelry that tell stories filled with emotion, depth, and wonder.
We’re also deeply inspired by alternative subcultures such as goth, witchy, and dark romantic aesthetics, where beauty and individuality intertwine.
By combining diverse goldsmithing and design techniques, we create a broad range of jewelry and art pieces. From refined and timeless to bold and intricate. Every piece carries its own rhythm, structure, and soul.
