When we buy something ourselves, these values are incredibly important to us – so we do everything we can to uphold them for you too. By being clear throughout the entire process, we ensure there are no surprises at the end… except, of course, a stunning piece of jewelry.
We talk everything through with you and are fully transparent about the process, pricing, and quality. By working closely with you, we make sure your custom piece is truly co-created – just for you (or the both of you).
We love doing this and hope you share our excitement.

Step 1: Inspiration & Budget

Before we start designing, we want to know:
What do you love? What’s important to you?

If the piece is a surprise or gift (like an engagement ring!), we’d love to hear what matters most to the person receiving it.

Think about:

A style you love
A gemstone with personal meaning
Favorite colors, metals, or stones
A meaningful engraving (name, date, symbol)
Inspiration images (Pinterest boards or photos)

Don’t worry if you’re not 100% sure yet – we’re used to designing from emotion and story. Whether you have a full mood board or just a feeling, we’ll make sure you end up with something that fits you perfectly.

Budget & Feasibility: Transparency First

During our first chat, we’ll discuss your wishes and your budget.

We’ll always be honest and realistic:

Is your idea doable within your budget?
If not, we’ll suggest creative ways to stay close to your vision while keeping costs within reach.

Thanks to our experience in bespoke jewelry design and goldsmithing, we often find surprising and beautiful solutions.

Step 2: Down Payment & Sketching

Once we've talked about your ideas and wishes, we get started designing your unique handmade piece – and this is when your dream begins to take shape.

🧾 Important: Your spot in our schedule is only confirmed after we receive your deposit.
Until then, someone else might claim your place. Our calendar fills up fast – we recommend reaching out 6–9 months in advance (9–12 months for wedding rings).

Why pay a deposit before design begins?

Since each piece is custom-made from scratch, we start sketching only after the deposit is paid. This covers the time and effort we invest: from brainstorming to realistic design sketches based on your ideas.

What helps us design better?

The more input you provide, the more on-point the designs will be.
Pinterest boards, favorite gemstones, a story to translate – it all helps. And if you’re unsure, no worries – we’ll guide you step-by-step.

What you get from us:

One or more unique designs from experienced goldsmiths
A price estimate for each option (including any gemstones or extras)
Full transparency on materials, labor, and finishing
If requested: a breakdown of work hours and materials used

Want to adjust the design later? No problem – we’ll always discuss changes and any additional costs in advance.

Step 3: Appointments & Sizing

After the first sketches are ready, we can schedule an in-person appointment (optional). During this meeting, we’ll take your measurements and go over all design details. It’s a great moment to pause and reflect on the process so far.

📏 Sizing = Precision

Especially for rings, the perfect fit is essential. Since each piece is made to order, we want to be sure the size is right – for both comfort and durability.

Prefer to continue remotely? That’s totally fine!
We can handle sizing later in the process – as long as it's before we begin crafting.

⚠️ Note: If you provide your own measurements, we can't guarantee the fit. We can resize it later, but additional fees may apply.
📍 If we measure the size during your appointment, we do offer a fit guarantee.

Step 4: Final Approval & Start of Production

Once we’re aligned on the design, price, and delivery timing, we’ll confirm everything verbally and follow up in writing via email, WhatsApp, or Instagram.
No formal contract – just a clear summary: the final design, total price, estimated delivery date, and any special notes.

📌 You’ll also be told when we’ll start and when the final payment is due.
Make sure your spending limit is ready (especially for large amounts), so there are no hiccups at the end.

Down payment & final payment

As mentioned: no work begins until the deposit is received. The amount depends on the complexity, materials (like gemstones or gold), and type of piece.
Your deposit is of course deducted from the final total. You’ll never pay more than what we agreed on.

Then we begin

Once the design is approved and your deposit is in, we begin crafting your one-of-a-kind piece with love and precision.

We’ll deliver your piece on or before the promised date – barring rare exceptions (illness, supplier delays). If we can’t complete it in time, we’ll fully refund your deposit and explore options to finish it later.

Cancelling?

If you cancel the process after Step 2, we usually can’t refund your deposit. That’s because we’ll have already invested significant time and effort into your piece.

Step 5: The Creation Begins!

This is the most exciting part: the actual making of your unique piece.
Once everything is confirmed, we get to work in our atelier with care and craftsmanship.

We’ll keep you updated

We love sending photos (and sometimes short videos) during the process – a great keepsake for you to enjoy and look back on.

Stay involved

You’re always welcome to ask questions or share your thoughts – we encourage it!
This is your custom piece. It should feel just right. We believe communication and openness are key to something you’ll love for years.

A note about our studio

As much as we’d love your company, it’s not possible to be physically present during the crafting process.
We work from a home-based studio, and guests would have to walk through private spaces – which isn’t ideal.

But don’t worry: we’ll still send updates, photos, and videos along the way. And feel free to ask for them!

Step 6: Delivery – Your Dream Piece is Ready!

YAY – the moment is here: your custom piece is finished!
Once you’ve approved the final design and the balance is paid, we’ll arrange the delivery.

Shipping or Pickup?

We can ship your piece securely via insured mail with tracking.
Live nearby? We’re close to the Efteling – you’re welcome to pick it up and maybe combine it with a fun outing!

Prefer personal delivery? That’s possible too – we can bring the piece to you (travel fees apply).

Shipping Safety

We carefully package every piece to protect it during shipping.
Once your package leaves our hands, we can’t control delays or damage by the courier – though we always ship insured and with tracking.

Upon delivery: Check your package

When your piece arrives, inspect the outer box before opening. If it looks damaged, let us know immediately so we can work out a solution together.

⚠️ Note: We are not responsible for courier delays or damage during transport – but we will absolutely help you if something goes wrong.

Step 7 – You’re Happy (And So Are We!)

You’ve received your custom-made, handcrafted piece – YES!
We truly hope you love it just as much as we enjoyed making it.
Together we created something meaningful and unique, a one-of-a-kind item crafted with love and expertise by experienced goldsmiths.

Whether it’s a ring, pendant, or something else, your piece was designed to last and carry meaning – as long as you care for it properly.

Care & Maintenance

With your order, you’ll receive a care guide with tips to keep your silver or gold jewelry in top condition.
Keep in mind: sterling silver naturally oxidizes over time (it darkens). This is normal and can be managed with proper care.

Warranty

We offer a 6-month warranty from the date of delivery on all custom pieces.
This covers soldered parts and structural integrity.
Please note: Damage from improper use, dropping, or poor care is not covered.
